**Key Responsibilities:**

* Woodworking: Proficient in rough and finish carpentry, cabinet making, and other woodworking techniques.
* Metal Working: Welding techniques such as MIG and TIG. Sheet metal fabrication preferred.
* Electrical and HVAC Systems: Design and installation of electrical and HVAC systems as needed for fabrication projects.
* Generator Maintenance: Perform mechanical diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of gas/diesel generators.
* High-Level Finishing: Ensure all fabricated materials meet the highest standards of finishing.
* Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret simple/basic diagrams and schematics to guide project completion using best practices.
* Project Implementation: Collaborate with shop management to implement project plans and meet daily milestones for completion.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance procedures to ensure the final product meets the highest standards.
* Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and toolbox to ensure efficiency and safety.

**Requirements:**

* Forklift certified.
* Proven experience in woodworking, electrical, HVAC, and generator maintenance.
* Proficiency in reading diagrams and schematics.
* Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality work.
* Effective communication skills.
* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
* Previous specialty fabrication experience with a portfolio of past projects.

**Physical Requirements:**

* Ability to lift, push, and carry heavy materials greater than 50 pounds and work in various positions, including standing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and bending for extended periods.
* Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

**Work Environment:**

* Fabrication shop, which may include exposure to noise, fumes, dust, and varying temperatures.
* Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

**Additional Requirements:**

* Valid driver's license
* Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Travel when necessary.
