Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Trinity Health Livingston. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Gather and analyze patient information to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
- Use teach-back methodology to educate patients and families on their care and treatment.
- Actively seek to prevent potential hospital-acquired complications and effectively communicate patient status, priority goals, and interventions during consultations, rounds, and handoffs.
- Follow all HIPAA policies and procedures and behave in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Values of St. Joseph Mercy Hospitals.
- Graduation from a school of nursing that results in the ability to sit for the NCLEX exam to become licensed as a Registered Nurse. BSN preferred.
- Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- BLS.
- ACLS required for the following departments: Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency.
- At least one year of ICU experience.
