Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care, utilizing clinical nursing knowledge and skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized plans of care, addressing the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of patient care and the healthcare environment.
- Support the education and orientation of new staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Chemotherapy/Brachytherapy certification within 6 months of hire.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a reasonable expectation of exposure to blood-borne pathogens. The physical demands of this role include medium work, with the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
