Job Summary:The Pediatric 1:1 Nurse will provide one-on-one care to a 7-year-old patient with a tracheostomy, ventilator, gastrostomy, and oxygen requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric patients with complex needs and be able to provide high-quality care in a school setting.
Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one care to the patient in a school setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient's physician
- Monitor the patient's vital signs and report any changes to the physician
- Assist the patient with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing
- Communicate effectively with the patient's family and healthcare team
- Experience working with pediatric patients with tracheostomy and ventilator requirements
- NYS Nursing licensure
- Computer literacy
- Ability to complete nursing notes within 24 hours of the shift being completed
- Malpractice insurance
