POSITION OVERVIEW

The Supply Chain Coordinator role is an integral part of the Operations Team, operating under the direct oversight of the Business Manager. This position is responsible for the dispatch and management of equipment and personnel to ensure optimal service quality for employees, vendors, and clients. The Supply Chain Coordinator must be well-versed in corporate policies, health and safety regulations, and all relevant local, state, and federal laws.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Responsibilities include:
  • Act as the primary driver for logistics coordination by maintaining a comprehensive schedule for personnel and equipment, making daily deployment decisions, and ensuring accurate tracking and utilization of equipment.
  • Prioritize client projects and tasks to minimize subcontracting expenses through effective resource management.
  • Manage the scheduling of new orders while adapting to changes in ongoing projects.
  • Maintain active communication with field personnel throughout the day to exceed client expectations.
  • Follow up with vendors and service providers during project execution and completion.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to support efficient field operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to field staff by effectively communicating and enforcing company policies.
  • Stay informed about all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
  • Coordinate incoming loads with the Yard supervisor.
  • Maintain current Standard Operating Procedures for job sites.
  • Prepare and distribute work orders and manifests to relevant staff.
  • Participate in daily safety meetings.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for drivers and field staff.
  • Oversee driver credentialing.
  • Approve weekly payroll.
  • Review and coordinate time-off requests for drivers and field staff.
  • Organize driver and field staff physicals.
  • Ensure compliance with required training for drivers and field staff.
  • Ensure fleet operations adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Coordinate equipment rentals.
  • Manage fleet maintenance and repairs in collaboration with the maintenance department.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for drivers and field staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED (equivalent reading, writing, and reasoning skills); Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in the environmental industry, with at least one year in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), analytical abilities, and the capacity to interact effectively with clients, employees, and management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and possess strong supervisory, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • General knowledge of OSHA standards, DOT regulations, and other applicable federal, state, and local standards.
  • Understanding of equipment capabilities and job requirements.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including those with hazardous conditions, which may require lifting or exerting force exceeding 50 lbs.
  • Must hold appropriate licenses in good standing and meet MER and DOT driving requirements to operate company vehicles and equipment (documentation required).
  • Willingness to work beyond regular hours when necessary.
  • Ability to travel overnight as required by business needs.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and substance abuse screening process, including employment verifications, criminal search, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, with ongoing verifications throughout employment to ensure compliance with company policy.
