We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our General Pediatrics outpatient practice at Albany Medical Center.

Job Summary:

The LPN will provide direct patient care and assist in clinical functions under the direction of the attending physician, RN, Lead LPN or practice coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain and accurately record patient's vital signs
  • Document components of patient's history
  • Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff
  • Participate in in-office procedures under supervision
  • Perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing
  • Perform venipuncture for lab testing
  • Prescription call-backs within scope of practice
  • Prepare patient charts for clinical information
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and keep patient examination rooms stocked
  • Adhere to AMC's regulatory compliance issues
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. required
  • Previous experience in patient care setting preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from physicians, patients, and staff
  • LPN - State Licensure Upon Hire required
Working Conditions:

The LPN will work in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment with frequent interactions with patients, visitors, and staff.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
