Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse in the NICU at Health First, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Requirements

Current Florida RN licensure or endorsement
BSN highly preferred
Current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card and ACLS certification
Ability to lift, turn, pull, push, or ambulate patients/equipment up to 90% of the assigned shift
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop up to 90% of assigned shift
