Compensation:

FUCHS provides a competitive salary based on experience in a similar role. The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 annually, with actual compensation varying based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

The Materials Manager will report to the Senior Director of Supply Chain Planning. This pivotal position offers analytical support and insights to ensure the supply continuity of purchased materials, including components for internal production and resale. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of four direct reports in material planning aligned with key performance indicators such as Range of Coverage, Performance to Schedule, and On-time In-full.
  • Managing the purchase order lifecycle, including placement, follow-up, matching, and reconciliation.
  • Overseeing inventory management by analyzing usage trends and lead times to optimize planning and stocking, while addressing slow-moving and expired materials.
  • Driving improvements that align with operational excellence, focusing on cost reduction and revenue enhancement.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Accounting.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management within a distribution or manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in data collection and analysis, with the ability to make informed decisions in a business context.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI; intermediate to advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and self-motivation skills are critical.
  • Preferred experience with SAP, particularly in inventory and planning processes.
