Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our team at PeopleShare. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods and materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cycle Counting: Accurately count and verify inventory levels to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
  • Material Handling: Safely and efficiently move materials and products throughout the warehouse, using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Process and prepare shipments for delivery, and receive and inspect incoming goods for damage or defects.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, and perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Requirements
  • Stockroom Experience: Previous experience working in a stockroom or warehouse environment is required.
  • Strong Hand-Eye Coordination: Ability to accurately count and verify inventory levels, and safely operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Working Knowledge of Shipping Procedures: Familiarity with shipping procedures and techniques, including packaging and labeling.
  • Ability to Read and Comprehend Written Instructions: Ability to read and understand written instructions and procedures.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, and communicate with colleagues and management.
