Maintenance Excellence Leader

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Excellence Leader to oversee all maintenance operations at our facility. This dynamic role involves building, leading, and transforming the maintenance department, ensuring optimal equipment performance, reduced downtime, and a safe, highly efficient operation.

This position is ideal for a technical leader who has experience restructuring maintenance departments and implementing advanced maintenance strategies. The company continues to expand, offering a clear path to a Director of Engineering position.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of 30+ union electricians and mechanics in a 24/7 operation across three shifts
  • Build and strengthen maintenance capabilities by recruiting, training, and mentoring maintenance personnel
  • Implement best-in-class maintenance systems to improve efficiency and predictive maintenance
  • Maximize equipment uptime through preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Ensure safety and compliance by overseeing all maintenance activities
  • Streamline repair and maintenance strategies to drive operational improvements
  • Manage budgets and vendor relationships to procure cost-effective solutions
