About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Financial Operations Lead to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all plant accounting functions, including month-end close, financial reporting, and cost accounting.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and operational performance to identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Partner with plant leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and capital investment analysis
  • Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve plant profitability and operational efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline required
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting in an accounting or finance leadership role
  • Strong understanding of finance, accounting, payroll and HR software capabilities, including XA ERP, AS400, Ceridian payroll, and Salesforce
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Power BI
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to hire and lead a team effectively
