We are seeking a highly skilled APRN to join our team as a Research Nurse Specialist. The successful candidate will assist physicians in the care and management of patients participating in clinical trials, while also contributing to the development and implementation of research protocols.
Responsibilities- Assist physicians in the care and management of patients participating in clinical trials
- Contribute to the development and implementation of research protocols
- Collaborate with research staff to ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practices and the Code of Federal Regulations
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Participate in ongoing communication with research partners, trial sponsors, CROs, and IRBs
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current license/registration to practice in the state of Florida
- Prescriptive privileges or eligible to apply
- Must hold the necessary certification from ANCC or ONS (AOCN-P)
- Must be BLS certified
- Fluency in the English language with verbal and written communication skills
- Leadership skills necessary to direct others toward objectives that contribute to the successful treatment of patients
- Analytical skills necessary to evaluate patients' status, tolerability of clinical research therapies, and to monitor quality of patient care with physician oversight
