Electrical Estimator Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team at Rosso Recruiting. This role is ideal for a professional with a background in electrical estimation looking to advance in a supportive environment that values employee engagement and work-life balance.

The successful candidate will work on a variety of commercial and industrial electrical projects, ensuring detailed and accurate cost analysis, compliance, and resource management from start to finish. With experience in electrical estimation or a related role in commercial/industrial MEP or HVAC field, you will be proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications.

About the Role
  • You will review blueprints and technical documents to determine scope, materials, labor, and costs, and develop detailed estimates accordingly.
  • You will identify suppliers, negotiate pricing, and ensure cost-effectiveness for materials, labor, and equipment.
  • You will ensure estimates comply with safety standards and legislation; prepare and submit competitive bids.
  • You will create cost plans, manage budgets, and monitor financial aspects of the project.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical estimation or a related role in commercial/industrial construction.
  • Technical skills in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications, with strong Excel and estimation software skills.
  • Familiarity with electrical components and systems, such as control panels, wiring, and lighting.
  • Effective written and verbal skills for working with engineers, clients, and trades.
