About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Post Surgical Nurse to join our team at Williamson Health. As a vital member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a post-surgical setting.


Job Summary

This is a dynamic role that requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and a passion for delivering compassionate care. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in a timely manner to identify their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health literacy and self-management.
  • Monitor patient progress, evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, and make adjustments as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current nursing license in the State of Tennessee.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a post-surgical setting.
  • Strong clinical skills, including wound care and management.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
