Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Concrete Mixer Truck: Safely drive a concrete mixer truck on public streets and highways, as well as construction sites, to transport and deliver concrete materials.
  • Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Load and Unload Concrete: Load and unload concrete materials from the mixer truck, ensuring accurate measurements and quality control.
  • Maintain Vehicle and Equipment: Perform routine maintenance on the vehicle and equipment, including cleaning and lubricating parts as needed.
  • Communicate with Team Members: Maintain regular communication with team members, including dispatchers and other drivers, to ensure smooth operations and coordinate deliveries.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class A or B License: Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with a good driving record.
  • Experience with Heavy Equipment: Have a minimum of one year of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably a concrete mixer truck.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, as well as work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in temperature and weather conditions.
  • Availability: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
