Job Summary

Med-Trans is seeking a highly skilled Helicopter Pilot to join our team of medical air transportation professionals. As a Helicopter Pilot, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, working closely with a team of medical experts to ensure the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Aircraft Readiness: Ensure the aircraft is ready for flight dispatches, adhering to FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and maintaining aircraft cleanliness.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate MTC and regulatory documentation, and record keeping.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
  • Shift Change Information: Provide shift change information to successive pilots and team members, following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details.
  • Certifications and Training: Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
Requirements
  • Commercial Certificate: Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
  • Instrument Rating: Helicopter instrument rating.
  • Medical Certificate: Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
  • Flight Hours: 2,000 total flight hours, 1,500 helicopter hours, 1,000 helicopter PIC hours, and 1,000 turbine helicopter hours.
  • Night Flight Hours: 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided or unaided).
Preferred Qualifications

EC130 experience is preferred.
