Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Go Healthcare. As a Travel ICU Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions
- Monitor and report patient status to the healthcare team, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Perform various medical procedures, including intubation, ventilation, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina
- 2+ years of experience in ICU nursing
- ACLS and BLS certification
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
