Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Accounting Division of a financial solutions firm is seeking a Billing Coordinator to support their operations. This role encompasses daily billing tasks and the management of monthly billing timelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate Turnkey Asset Management Platform (TAMP) billing for client accounts and assess commission distributions to financial advisors.
  • Handle account closures and client reimbursements as necessary.
  • Collaborate with various departments to guarantee billing precision.
  • Implement account modifications related to billing and verify the accuracy of outcomes.
  • Engage with business partners to gather and confirm information concerning billable assets.
  • Ensure data integrity across multiple organizational databases.
  • Conduct data audits to validate accuracy and compliance with established protocols.
  • Generate and oversee reconciliation reports, addressing any discrepancies.
  • Assist with inquiries related to advisor billing.
  • Maintain proactive communication with management regarding payment statuses and other relevant billing matters.
  • Develop proficiency in the billing technology platform.
  • Identify opportunities for and assist in the implementation of process enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a billing capacity is required.
  • Experience with Orion and Salesforce is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to new initiatives, systems, and procedures.
  • A collaborative team player who takes responsibility and can work autonomously.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong client service orientation.
  • A personable and proactive individual with a robust work ethic.
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic, small team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Aptitude for managing multiple tasks and prioritizing competing demands.
  • Experience in the financial services sector is a plus.
