Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Telemetry and Med Surg.
- Ability to float to various Med Surg and Tele units.
- Must possess the capability to interpret cardiac strips.
Hard Requirements:
- Experience level must reflect a med-surg and telemetry environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.
- A minimum of 3 years in nursing practice is required.
- References should demonstrate a rating of 4-5.
- Competencies must align with medical-surgical and telemetry patient care needs, rated 3 or higher.

- ACLS
- BLS
- NIH
Unit Details:
- Average Patient Census: 36
- Total Rooms/Beds: 36
- Nurse Ratios: 1:5
- Weekend Coverage: Required every other weekend
- Call Requirement: None
- Scrubs: Royal Blue
Patient Demographics:
- Adolescents to Geriatrics
Key Skills Required:
- Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response: Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias, both on-unit and remote monitoring.
- Cardiovascular Skills: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery.
- IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills: Blood product administration, central line care, PICC line management, and starting IVs.
- Medication Management: Proficiency in Heparin protocols and managing cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration.
- Respiratory/Thoracic Skills: Care for chronic ventilated patients, chest tube management, and non-invasive airway management.
Additional Notes:
- RTO must be included in the submission; no RTO is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment.
