Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients to help them achieve their goals and improve their functional abilities
- Complete thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
- Develop and implement new programs to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff to ensure seamless care coordination
- Present in-services to educate staff on best practices and new developments in occupational therapy
- Assist in the general operation of the department to ensure efficient and effective care delivery
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
