Our client, a specialized equipment manufacturer, is in search of a Service Operations Technician/Engineer to enhance their team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing maintenance, modifications, installations, and technical assistance to users of the equipment supplied by the organization. The ideal candidate will be a "Road Warrior" open to significant travel, possess diagnostic testing experience, and have a strong desire to thrive in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.

Position: Service Operations Technician

Location: Travel along the I-95 Corridor

Compensation: $27 - $35 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Preventative and Corrective Maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair standard and specialized equipment and system components.
  • Install products effectively.
  • Execute factory acceptance and site acceptance testing.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with customers.
  • Exhibit professionalism, courtesy, and adherence to customer protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in General Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Experience with diagnostic testing equipment: volt-ohm meters, amp probes, precision temperature, and pressure calibration tools.
  • Ability to interpret P&ID and electrical/pneumatic schematics.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • General understanding of sterilization principles, steam systems, sterilizers, and decontamination processes.
  • Capability to resolve complex mechanical and system challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Windows, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and AutoCAD or similar software.
