About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographer to join our team at Providence Medical Foundation. As a Polysomnographer, you will work independently and conduct polysomnographic testing under the supervision of the Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct polysomnographic testing and monitor polygraph recordings and audio/visual equipment to ensure patient safety and test quality.
  • Prepare patients and apply recording devices, explaining procedures as needed.
  • Monitor sleep/wake data and other physiological events during testing.
Requirements
  • California Polysom Technologist License upon hire.
  • National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists upon hire or National Certified Polysomnographic Technician - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists upon hire.
  • 1 year of experience as a polysomnographic technologist; 2 years preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Polysomnography.
  • Membership in Association of Polysomnographic Technologist (APT) or American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) upon hire.
