POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for Camp Specialty Instructors to enhance our programs by delivering guidance, safety, leadership, and educational experiences to children. Areas of focus include Archery, Arts and Crafts, Basketball, Dance, Fitness, Music, and more.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate the effective operation of camp programs
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of the site
  • Create engaging and dynamic programming
  • Execute skill-oriented lesson plans
  • Provide mentorship and direction to youth
  • Collaborate with the Youth Development Director
  • Stay informed on relevant program developments
  • Maintain current certifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Uphold a secure environment
  • Exhibit positive leadership qualities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service
  • Adhere to safety protocols
  • Engage in creative camp activities
  • Communicate effectively with participants
  • Participate in mandatory training sessions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children
  • Expertise in specialty areas
  • Proficient in computer use
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Customer service-oriented mindset
  • Valid driver's license
  • CPR/First Aid certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working with teenagers
  • Minimum age of 21
  • First Aid/CPR certification

Employment Requirements:

  • Successful completion of background checks
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
