Job Title: Travel Mammography Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Edmonds, Washington.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mammography procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients in a physician office, clinic, or hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety, as well as excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality mammography procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, drug and radiation policies, protocols, and techniques.
  • Work with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities of equipment.
  • Obtain, verify, and maintain all relevant documentation, including requisition/chart, patient history, pregnancy status, and shielding precautions taken.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Mammography Tech (Certified Mammography Tech).
  • AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
  • BSN from accredited nursing program, and proper licensure.
  • Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families.
