{"Job Title": "Senior Java Engineer", "Job Summary": "We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Engineer to join our team at HealthEdge. As a Senior Java Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and developing software applications using Java. You will participate in all phases of software development, including requirements definition, design, architecture, development, testing, and integration. You will work as a back-end server engineer in an agile development team and participate in all phases of the development process. You will design and develop application components in Java to maintain existing code and to create new services. You will solve interesting technology and usability challenges on a daily basis. You will ensure applications receive thorough unit, system, and integration testing. You will provide solution support and troubleshooting following deployment. You will promote agile principles and methodology. You will contribute to the future direction and vision of the product suite including new feature development and bug fixes.

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field (foreign equivalent is acceptable) plus 5 years of employment experience in software development.
* Employment experience must include:

1. A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated employment experience in Java programming and object-oriented programming.
2. A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated employment experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting of Java applications.
3. A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated employment experience in J2EE, Oracle, and Web Services.
4. A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated employment experience in Linux, shell, or other Unix scripting languages.
5. A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated employment experience in the full software development lifecycle using an agile development process.
