Recycling Specialist

ServiceSource is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Recycling Specialist to join our team. As a Recycling Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the organization's sustainability initiatives by managing the collection, processing, and disposal of recyclable materials.

• Prepare for shipment or destruction of classified waste, including plastics, film, paper, CDs, DVDs, hard drives, and circuit boards.
• Manage relationships with equipment companies to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
• Operate large capacity industrial machinery, such as paper shredders, balers, and destructors.
• Assist in separating collected recyclable materials into established categories.
• Manage inventory tracking and reporting of Microsoft licensing.
• Ensure proper re-packing of equipment for shipment.
• Manage scheduling of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Accurately track all incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Collect and sort recyclable construction materials.
• Perform routine maintenance or minor repairs on recycling equipment.

• High School diploma or state certified equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of direct experience required.
• Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph required.
• Ability to obtain a Class B CDL preferred.

• Knowledge of electric pallet jack and forklifts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

The work environment is typically quiet, with occasional exposure to industrial machinery and materials.
