Cosmetology Specialist

Part-time position, 1 day per week.

At Brickyard Healthcare, we depend on our Cosmetology Specialist to meet the grooming needs of our residents while delivering outstanding customer care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients to understand their desired services and hairstyle preferences.
• Secure a protective covering around the client's shoulders.
• Utilize clippers, combs, and scissors to cut, shape, and taper hair.
• Apply shaving cream and perform beard shaving or outline hair contours on the temples and neck.
• Provide additional grooming services, including applying hair products, dyeing, shampooing, styling hair, and offering facial, neck, or scalp massages.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace and tools.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must hold a current license as a Barber/Beautician in good standing in the state of practice.
• Ability to read, write, and follow both oral and written instructions at a level necessary to perform the job effectively.
• Must demonstrate the ability to maintain regular attendance.
