Wound Care Nurse Opportunity

Avante Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Wound Care Nurse.

The ideal candidate will share our commitment to providing exceptional care to our adult residents and will be responsible for monitoring existing pressure ulcers, recommending treatment changes, and implementing preventative interventions to prevent skin breakdown.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess residents' wound care needs
  • Develop and implement individualized wound care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and training to staff on wound care best practices

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in good standing
  • Previous experience in hospital, long-term care, and wound care settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
