Responsibilities:
* Prepare claim data for transmission to Managed Care
* Review and process payment denials
* Organize billing and re-billing materials
* Produce reports and aging from billing system to provide feedback to management
* Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
* Full knowledge of how to bill Managed Care and follow up
* Experience with billing all payers, including Medicare, MCAL, CCI (Managed Care), Skilled HMO, Co-Insurance
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and internal personal skills
* Must be proficient in the billing process and timeliness of billing
* Detail oriented
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* Strong knowledge of admissions process and insurance verification process
* Knowledge of Trust Account process
* Knowledge of AHT software
