Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Piedmont Henry Hospital. As a Lead Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for supporting the supervision of shift activities and acting as an expert during your assigned shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports the supervision of shift activities and acts as the expert during assigned shift
  • Daily support of staffing and assignments, providing resource support, supporting preceptor tasks, and fulfilling assigned patient care workload
  • Serves as a role model and advocates a highly efficient, accountable, and collaborative team environment between staff and with physicians
  • Delivers the highest standards of patient safety and quality of care
Qualifications
  • Requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
  • Minimum of two years clinical experience in respiratory care
  • Current BCLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
  • Proficient in all patient care settings (i.e., adult ICU, NICU)
  • Is a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Additional Requirements
  • Has and maintains a current licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional in the state of Georgia
