Job Title: MEP Superintendent

Turner Construction is seeking a highly skilled MEP Superintendent to lead our Mechanical and Electrical systems projects in the North Central Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, managing subcontractors and trade labor, and maintaining the highest level of quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and trade labor to ensure timely and quality delivery of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
  • Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and interns to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule and budget.
  • Communicate with owners and architects/engineers to resolve field issues and ensure compliance with contract documents.
  • Manage the billing process and oversee the monthly estimate of work completed, payrolls, material invoices, and subcontractor payment applications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or at least four years of formal engineering or architectural experience and a minimum of six years of mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience.
  • Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling, and cost control procedures.
  • Specific knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Systems, including building information modeling and its use in coordination of project systems.
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
