Transmission Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Transmission Design Engineer to contribute to our team at Electric Power Systems, Inc. This is a full-time position that may require some travel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop transmission line design, including engineering analysis, route selection, structure spotting, and line design calculations
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams on business development and project management
  • Design and develop transmission standards, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Manage projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality results
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in PLS-CADD software
  • Knowledge of NESC code and Alaska professional engineer registration or ability to acquire registration
  • 3+ years of experience in transmission design engineering
