Job Title: Railcar Inspection Supervisor

TTX Company is seeking a highly skilled Railcar Inspection Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our FMO operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient inspection and repair of railcars at our FMO location.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safe performance of duties by employees in accordance with Safety Policies.
  • Train and instruct employees in the proper inspection and repair of railcars in compliance with current Company and Industry standards.
  • Foster positive employee relations and ensure conformance to Human Resource Policy and Procedures.
  • Maintain efficient and productive operation in accordance with Company goals.
  • Control expenses related to the location's operations and distribution of labor.
  • Serve as local liaison to host railroad, AAR, and FRA.
Qualifications:

An Associate's degree (AA) is desirable, and one to three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Both general office environment with moderate noise level and occasional outdoor environment with infrequent high noise level. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit (remain stationary within work area) and use hands to finger, handle, feel, and reach. The employee is occasionally required to move about (stand, walk). The employee must occasionally lift and/or transport up to 10 pounds and infrequently lift/transport over 25 pounds. Correctable vision required for close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception vision capabilities, and ability to adjust focus.

Salary Range:

$75,000 - $80,000 per year. TTX's generous Total Rewards package includes Paid Time Off, Health, Dental, and Vision benefits, and 401(k) with company match. This position participates in Railroad Retirement.
