Company Overview:

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive fire and mass notification system designs in adherence to industry standards and contractual obligations.
  • Interact with clients, suppliers, and management to assess project requirements, generate pre- and post-designs, and establish project schedules.
  • Analyze necessary products, components, and applications through research and development; apply expertise in fire and mass notification systems to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations, code, and specifications.
  • Verify the capabilities of life safety systems and components.
  • Mentor System Engineers, Technicians, and/or Project Managers throughout the design process.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by attending seminars, reviewing trade publications, and participating in system certification courses.
  • Remain knowledgeable about relevant regulations, codes, and specifications.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
Essential Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Engineering or related field (desired).
  • Prior experience working on military installations (desired).
  • NICET III - Fire Alarm Systems certification or higher.
  • Valid enhanced driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment and continuing random background, drug, and MVR screenings.
