Key Responsibilities- Quality Inspection and Control: Conduct thorough inspections of products to ensure they meet customer and regulatory standards. Perform first piece, in-process, and receiving inspections, with Final Inspection as needed to support business needs.
- Calibration and Gage Management: Calibrate and set gages to ensure accurate measurements and quality control.
- Continuous Improvement: Assist in identifying areas for improvement and participate in corrective actions to enhance our quality management system.
- Documentation and Certification: Assist in preparing, completing, and submitting certifying documentation, such as Certificates of Conformance, PPAPs, and FAIRs.
- Training and Guidance: Provide guidance and training to production associates as needed to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
- Audit and Compliance: Assist in facilitating and performing process audits and annual ISO audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Quality System Documentation: Assist in maintaining and revising our quality system documentation to ensure it remains up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Education and Experience: 3+ years of experience in Quality or a complementary role, with a strong understanding of quality management systems and industry standards.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, experience with precision hand measuring equipment, and competence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Soft Skills: Collaborative mindset, ability to multitask and react to a dynamic work environment, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work Environment: Work requires normal manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Personal Protective Equipment: Protective eyewear to be worn while operating machinery.
