Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our prescription filling process.

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Process prescriptions, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, and verifying medicine is correct.
• Operate pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, and maintain accurate records.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.

• PTCB certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and operating a cash register.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
