*Candidates selected for this position will undergo a government security investigation and must fulfill eligibility criteria for a Position of Public Trust. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or have been permanent residents for at least three years.

This role operates on a hybrid work model, requiring attendance at our technical center on a regular basis.

Educational Background:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, coupled with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, is required.

Essential Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in Linux environments (Redhat Linux preferred, but other distributions are acceptable).
  • Strong soft skills, including effective communication and organizational abilities.
  • Hands-on hardware skills, including the ability to replace system components and install hardware/operating systems.
  • Knowledge of networking devices, including IP addressing, routing, and access control lists.
  • Data analysis capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Linux shell scripting.

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding of software development and engineering methodologies.
  • Experience in requirements development.
  • Familiarity with Java and SQL.
  • Knowledge of XML.
  • Experience with NAS flight processing.
  • Familiarity with TBFM or other FAA systems.

*Occasional travel may be necessary.
