Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospice Aide to join our team. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing comfort care to patients, enabling them to remain at home with their loved ones. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to meet each patient's unique physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comfort care to patients, including personal care, light housekeeping, and emotional support.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help patients maintain their independence and dignity.
- Collaborate with the hospice team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification highly preferred.
- In states where licensure is not required, applicants must meet one of the following:
- They are already a licensed/certified aide; or
- They have completed a state-approved nurse aide training program AND have been continuously employed in that capacity for the previous 24 months.
- Current CPR certification required.
