Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during your designated shift.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other management team members.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support engagement efforts by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse diploma.
