About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at McDonald's. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading shifts and ensuring that customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead shifts and manage assigned departments, including Guest Service, Kitchen, and People.
  • Manage Systems, such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
  • Set goals, delegate tasks, and follow up on results.
  • Report results back to the team and other managers.
Department Manager Responsibilities

The Guest Service Department Manager will be responsible for:

  • Making sure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience.
  • Ensuring sales promotions are done well.
  • Training service staff in service procedures.
  • Organizing the Front Counter McCaf and Drive-Thru areas for best service.

The Kitchen Department Manager will be responsible for:

  • Making sure the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers, and fast.
  • Ensuring food is always safe.
  • Controlling food cost.
  • Training kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.

The People Department Manager will be responsible for:

  • Making sure the restaurant hires qualified crew.
  • Training them well.
  • Scheduling them to meet restaurant sales and profit goals.
Requirements

Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.

We are looking for positive team players with flexible schedules who like to have fun, with the passion to work in a fast-paced environment.

You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate-owned and operated restaurants.
