Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Transportation Project Director to join our team at Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP in Texas. The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in the design and delivery of transportation projects, including highways, bridges, and interchanges. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading and managing a team of engineers to deliver transportation projects
  • Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success
  • Maintaining and improving project quality and safety standards

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in transportation engineering
  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • PE registration in the state of Texas
  • Strong knowledge of TXDOT policies and procedures
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
