Kitchen Sanitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Kitchen Sanitation Specialist at the beautiful Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen facilities, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are properly sanitized and stored.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our kitchen team, you will be expected to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization, adhering to all health and safety protocols.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen facilities, including equipment, utensils, and storage areas.
• Clean and sanitize all glassware, dishes, and table utensils using proper procedures.
• Safely store all glassware, dishes, and table utensils as designated.
• Properly store clean cooking utensils and vessels on racks and in drawers as designated.
• Ensure floors are kept swept and dry at all times, using Wet Floor warning signs as necessary.
• Remove trash, recyclables, and waste oil, discarding them in proper receptacles.
• Control breakage of dishes, glass, and table utensils.
• Follow "Clean as you go" policy at all times.
• Adhere to safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including dish room, ware washing, kitchen, and banquet service aisles and deck areas.
