Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at York Hospital. As a CT Tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess a current Maine license/certification and at least two years of recent experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist in a Hospital setting. You will be responsible for operating CT scanners, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Maintain accurate records of patient exams and results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • Current Maine license/certification
  • At least two years of recent experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist in a Hospital setting
  • Current BLS and/or ACLS and/or Specialty Certifications
  • 2 current Clinical References
  • Physical
  • TB Records
  • Current - Tdap/Flu vaccinations
  • Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella or vaccination records
  • Must be able to pass background/urine drug screening upon accepting an offer
