Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Social Policy and Causal Methods

We are seeking a highly qualified individual for a tenure-track faculty position in social policy and causal methods. The successful candidate will join the Department of Health Policy and Management in the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.
The position involves teaching courses and conducting research in one or more areas of social policy and causal methods, including population health policy, social policy and causal methods for assessing public policy impact, social policy and health equity, and related areas.
The ideal candidate will have a strong record of research and an earned doctorate in public policy, social policy, health policy, economics, social epidemiology, political science, sociology, urban planning, social welfare, or a related discipline.

The salary range for this position is $78,200-$101,400, negotiable based on experience. This position is a 9-month, hard money, and tenure-track. Salaries must be approved by the Chancellor. Consistent with recent hires, and based on experience, it is expected that this base amount will be supplemented by an additional 50-55% off-scale rate, equal to a maximum off-scale range of $121,200 to 157,200. This salary does not include other components of pay raised through extramural funds, which would yield compensation that is higher than this range.
