Job Summary:
As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into finished goods through various processes including cutting, bending, and welding. We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate various power and hand tools to shape and cut metal components according to specifications.
2. Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure accurate production.
3. Set up and utilize an oxygen/acetylene torch for cutting tasks.
4. Develop layouts and plan operations for efficient workflow.
5. Perform tasks such as hammering, chipping, and grinding to achieve desired shapes and finishes.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
2. Certification as a welder is advantageous.
3. Proficient in fitting and welding structural steel and aluminum based on detailed blueprints.
4. Familiarity with welding procedures including GMAW, SMAW, FCAW, and TGAW.
5. Ability to pass a welding test following the interview process.
