We are seeking a highly skilled Metrology Technician Leader to join our team at Zocalo Recruiting. This role requires strong technical expertise in metrology, materials science, mechanical, or electrical engineering, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and commission metrology systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical assistance and training to customers, using expertise in metrology, materials science, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Metrology, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a field service engineering role, preferably with metrology or mechanical/electrical system experience.
• Strong understanding of metrology equipment and materials testing methodologies.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight stays, to customer sites.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
