Sodexo is seeking an experienced leader to join our team as an Environmental Services/Custodial General Manager 3 at UH Lake West Medical Center. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores, providing a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, and working closely with the Infectious Control department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve client and patient satisfaction scores
  • Lead a team of environmental services professionals to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
  • Collaborate with the Infectious Control department to ensure compliance with infection control protocols
  • Partner with hospital leadership to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion
  • Manage the Unit Operating System to ensure efficient and effective operations
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a custodial or housekeeping director-level role, preferably in a hospital environment
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and present findings to stakeholders
  • Experience with vendor and contract management, as well as union and contract negotiations
