Mobile Service Technician

AKRS Equipment is seeking a skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our team at our David City location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in the field responding to service calls and coordinating with the service manager to manage the field-based service schedule and customer calls.
  • Clearly communicate with Service Manager, Service Clerk, Sales Representatives, Customers, Field Representatives, DTAC, and other Technicians.
  • Generate additional mobile service business, supporting the growth of the service business through excellent service and support in the field.
  • Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment including both new and existing Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products on location for customers.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience performing service repairs.
  • Ability to work efficiently and in an organized manner to meet deadlines.
  • Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural equipment.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • High School Diploma & Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Valid driver's license required and fork lift certification preferred.
