Trauma Care Technician

Responsibilities Include:
- Administering assigned nursing procedures focused on patient comfort and well-being.
- Addressing patient emergencies and initiating appropriate interventions while notifying the RN.
- Conducting venipuncture and finger stick procedures, adhering to laboratory safety protocols.
- Performing essential unit-specific tasks under RN supervision, such as EKGs and measuring height and weight.
- Processing patient testing orders and managing lab specimens through the PowerChart system.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience or completion of Patient Care Technician and/or Phlebotomy training programs.
- This role requires 72 hours per pay period.
- Shifts are from 7pm to 7am.
- Flexibility to work 8 or 12 hour shifts or a combination thereof.
- Weekend and holiday shifts are required as per departmental policies.
