Job Title: Director of Training

At Martin's Restaurants, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Training to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs to ensure that all employees have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service and maintain high-quality restaurant operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all restaurant staff, including new hire training, ongoing training, and leadership development.
  • Collaborate with operations, human resources, and accounting teams to identify training needs and develop solutions.
  • Design and deliver training materials, including manuals, guides, and online resources.
  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and coaching sessions to ensure that employees have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external training providers and vendors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in training and development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in the restaurant industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective training programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
